Representatives of our company participated in the International Baltic Road Conference "Road to the Future" held in Vilnius, bringing togather road sector professionals from the Baltic States and across Europe.
The conference addressed key issues related to road infrastructure development in the region, with particular focus on:
- strategic projects — Via Baltica, Rail Baltica and other European transport corridors, and their importance for regional development and security;
- mobility innovations, intelligent transport systems, and the role of roads in defence;
- the latest research and practical solutions — from new asphalt mixtures and the use of alternative materials to the application of drones and machine vision in traffic safety and road maintenance.
The presentations by futurists Kjell A. Nordström and Christian Kromme were especially inspiring, offering insights into global development trends, the role of artificial intelligence, and the skills needed for the future.
In addition to the conference programme, meetings were held with our partners to discuss cooperation opportunities and explore new technologies in road maintenance.
Events of this scale provide an important opportunity not only to learn about the latest trends in road infrastructure development, but also to strengthen cross-border cooperation — a key factor in the successful implementation of major transport projects in the Baltic region.
