SJSC "Latvijas autoceļu uzturētājs" took part in RTU Career Day, which brought togather students, recent graduates and employers from various industries.
During the event, we met many motivated young people at our stand who were eager to learn more about the infrastructure sector, internship opportunities and the first steps in building their professional careers. Many students showed interest in joining our team as interns, with the potential to gain their first professional experience with the company in the future.
Our internship programme has repeatedly proven its value. One example is RTU graduate Raitis Šteinbergs, who joined us as an intern and later purposefully developed his professional path through several positions within the company. Today he holds a leadership role. Stories like this demonstrate that an internship can become the starting point of a long-term career in the infrastructure sector.
Participation in Career Day is important to us not only as an opportunity to introduce students to our company and our daily work. It is also a way to strengthen the connection between the industry and higher education, share experience and foster a better understanding of the role infrastructure plays in the development of the country.
We are pleased to have had the opportunity to represent our company at this event, share what we do and how we do it, and establish new professional contacts and potential partnerships for the future.
